Being I am bored with absolutely nothing to do with my days, I have read up on the codex alimentarius (food laws), which are reworkings of the codex alimentarius austianius ( austrian food laws). There is a great deal of hubub about the codex being some sort of plot to cull the human population through food control. it IS a enforcement of a global standard of food trade with no apparent teeth being, according to the UN and the WTO, it adoption is optional. It appears to be a predominantly European concern as the EU has a continental standard of food quality.
seems that a this is an extension about the nature of globalism and the one world government; which is kind of kooky being that International organizations have only as much power as they are permitted to have by their members.
conspiracy theory? not really. I would say its about 50- legitimate concern about sovereignty, 50 percent misunderstanding of international law.
it it possible? yes, depending on how trading blocs would work. Currently the US has its own standards of food. presumably, it would not lower them.
